WinRAR file compressor is giving error message on PC. What to do?

I was compressing some of my files with WinRAR compressor. I wanted to send those files through email. While compressing some system error starts displaying on screen. I finished the process in between and again tried compressing but nothing new happened. How to resolve this issue?

Compressing a file of any format using WinRAR software does not require any technical knowledge while compression. You must be missing some steps while compressing file. Follow given steps:
1. Double click on ‘WinRAR’ wizard icon and create new archive.
2. Browse a file from hard disk location and single click on it and then press ’OK’.
3. You can rename file while opening it in WinRAR or continue with same name.
4. Again browse on hard drive to select destination where file will be saved. Click on ‘folder’ and press ‘open’.
5. Then click ‘Next’ and select various options given in front of you. Select compressing speed and you can also choose to delete original file after compressing process finishes.
6. Now select file format to make file ‘self extracting file’ or’.exe’ file so that compressed file need not to be decompress by WinRAR.
7. You can select to divide file into different parts and choose size of each part.
8. Click on ‘Finish’ button and WinRAR will start compressing file.
